< Le Colture - the Ruggeri family winery - is located in Santo Stefano di Valdobbiadene, a small village surrounded by the green hills of the Prosecco region. The sparkling wine cellar has existed since the 16th century and has been owned by the Ruggeri family ever since. Today it is run by Renato and Cesare Ruggeri, who see themselves as guardians of the extraordinary family heritage and - like the entire family clan - are passionate about their work. Renato and Cesare are responsible for the wine production themselves and attach great importance to environmentally friendly wine production. They rely on sustainable cultivation methods, natural cultivation of the vineyards and careful use of resources to ensure the quality of the Proseccos year after year.

All other family members also have their place in the business: from tending the vineyards and selecting the Prosecco grapes to the various stages of winemaking and sparkling wine production, marketing and sales. Every detail is carefully monitored to ensure that the wines of Le Colture retain their characteristic freshness, elegance and finesse. From the outside, the winery looks rather provincial, but the cellar and bottling plant are state of the art. This combination of tradition and innovation makes Le Colture one of the leading producers of Prosecco Superiore.

All the Prosecci that come from Le Colture year after year are the result of constant work and close relationships with the surrounding vineyards and their terroir. The 45 hectares of vineyards are all family-owned - a rarity in the Prosecco region, where much is leased and bought in. Direct ownership of the vineyards enables targeted care of the vineyards and complete control of the grape quality. This results in sparkling wines and semi-sparkling wines with a special character that reflect the uniqueness of their origin.
