This single varietal Cabernet Franc comes from vines with an average age of 30 years. Due to the long maceration of the grapes, the tannins and aromas blend perfectly with a dense red cherry fruit. Ripa della Volta · Valpolicella Ripasso DOC 2020 (Bio)

The Valpolicella Ripasso 'Ripa della Volta' (Valley of the Gods), comes from the second vineyard of the Montresor family (Ottella). After a long search, new vineyards were acquired and developed in the neighboring Valpolicella.

The high quality, calcareous soils are similar to those of Burgundy: this unique location, with its microclimate and marl soils - from which the Dolomites were also formed - create the conditions for an honest, sustainable and personal product.

Cabernet and Merlot are recognized worldwide as high-quality grape varieties. For the production of Cabernet-Merlot Sanct Valentin only grapes from particularly sunny vineyards are used. The yield is extremely low, the grape varieties are vinified individually. First produced in 2013, Cabernet-Merlot Sanct Valentin is a premium, extremely complex red wine with fine tannins. Titolo is the result of the Fucci family's still young viticultural project. Together with her father Salvatore, Elena Fucci has created something impressive: This single-varietal Aglianico exudes a beguiling, ethereal aroma with distinct spicy notes.
