Löwengang Chardonnay has not only shaped the success story of Alois Lageder, but also established the quality status of the wine country of South Tyrol. It was the first white wine in the country to successfully position itself on international markets in the 1980s. The winery's vineyards, which are located in various sites in Margreid, react differently to the climatic conditions each year. Our task is to respond to the different grapes and wines, combining them every year to create a new masterpiece.

The Chardonnay Riserva Troy comes from vineyards located at over 500 meters. Such a Chardonnay from high altitude is a rarity, but therein lies the charm: of pale straw yellow color in the glass, in the bouquet of fresh apples, supported by subtle citrus and mint notes. Fresh and cool on the palate, with spicy notes and hints of almond and hazelnut.
