Flaminio Verdeca Salento Bianco IGP 2020

The single varietal Verdeca of Tenuta Flaminio has a straw yellow color with light greenish reflections in the glass. The bouquet is delicate but persistent, reminiscent of citrus and flowers. The palate is dry, invigorating, with a fruity flavor and subtle acidity. - Gerardo [TS06/21]

Gerardo's Notes: 'The Verdeca grapes are harvested by hand in the second half of September. This is followed by a gentle destemming and pressing and a temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks for 20 days. For refinement follows subsequent aging on fine lees for two months.
