The Barbaresco Riserva 'Pora' is the result of a very special challenge: the grapes of a plot from the year 1980 of the Cru site 'Pora' were vinified and aged separately, modern vinification meets handed down tradition. For this strictly limited product, the trend towards more and more barrique was reversed and instead, the wine was partially aged in large wooden barrels. The vinification is complex, the duration and care of aging reminiscent of the highest quality wines from neighboring Barolo. - Gerardo
