Traditional Cannonau di Sardegna of a strong ruby red color. The nose is intense and fruity, with characteristic aromas of ripe dark berry fruit. The palate is dry and harmonious, with a round and fine tannic structure. All around a typical and drinkable Cannonau of classic cut. - Gerardo [TS02/18]
Gerardo's Notes: Already the Phoenicians introduced viticulture in Sardinia. This ancient winemaking tradition is reflected in the variety of autochthonous grape varieties found in Sardinia. From one of these grape varieties, the Cannonau, the Kiri of the Cantina del Vermentino Monti is pressed.
