Benuara, a blend of Nero d'Avola and Syrah shows a brilliant dark red color. The aroma is intense and complex, reminiscent of ripe wild berries and cherry liqueur. The palate is velvety, full of berry fruit and closes with balsamic hints. - Gerardo [TS12/22]
"The Nero d'Avola and its partial maturation in stainless steel tanks give the Benuara its freshness. It gets its strength from the Syrah, which has been matured in large wooden barrels. In the fragrance, fruit aromas of dark berries and sea buckthorn characterize this wine. The intense fruit and the well-integrated tannin impress on the tongue. Very soft and yet rich. Goes well with dishes with red meat, cheese." - John Platter
