Purple with dark cherry rim. Aroma spectrum of sour cherry, blackthorn notes with subtle toasty aromas. Dry with structured smooth tannins, distinctive and inviting. A red wine with esprit and flattering finish. - Gerardo
Gerardo's Notes: The Mediterranean, South Tyrolean climate is ideally suited for growing Pinot Noir on the higher slopes. The Mezzan is aged for 12 months partly in large wooden barrels as well as in barrique barrels. Accompanying ideas: To goose in any form, ideal companion to roast veal or even game. A delight with pecorino cheese with olive oil and nut bread.
