Intense ruby red with aromas of wild berries, sour cherries and pronounced herbal spice. Curlan presents itself elegant and opulent at the same time. It has a complex structure with pronounced and always juicy tannins. This Pinot Noir accompanies main courses based on red meat, roasts and game. Gerardo's Notes: Years of extensive research and countless tests through the aging of the smallest quantities of wine were the cornerstone of Curlan. The grapes for this Pinot Nero come from three selected plots in the single vineyard of Girlan, all bordering at 500m above sea level. The vineyards face east and west, respectively, and cover a total area of 1.2 hectares. The 20-25 year old vines grow on poor and gravelly soils formed by moraine deposits on volcanic porphyry rock.
