The Sauvignon grape variety has been cultivated in South Tyrol for more than a century. Typical of Flora are the intense aroma of citrus and elderflower and the freshness and liveliness on the palate. Minerality and refreshing acidity characterize the aromas of this wine. Flora is well suited to fish dishes, seafood, asparagus and white meat - Gerardo [TS06/20]
Gerardo's Notes: The best Sauvignon grapes come from the growing areas of Girlan, Montiggl and Eppan Berg at 500 m above sea level. The different combinations of growing soils - clay, lime and gravel - give Flora Sauvignon Blanc its unique character.
