In 1951, 200 members founded the winegrowers' cooperative in Friuli: the history of Cantina Rauscedo is marked by more than 60 years of vintage history, full of passion, commitment, vision and character. The price-quality ratio of Cantina Rauscedo is very good, because their prices in recent years have not been sky-high, yet the quality has been steadily rising, similar to the wines from the neighboring Collio or South Tyrol.

The village of Rauscedo is known all over the world as the 'capital' for the cultivation of rooted vine cuttings, with over 83 million rooted plants a year. In Rauscedo, where the rivers Tagliamento to the east and Meduna to the west suddenly flow impetuously and then suddenly sink underground again, it is said that 'the water separates the people, and the wine unites them'.

The selected wines all come from the sites around the stony wasteland of the rivers. It is rich in protected plant species and the soils are characterized by a large amount of white stones that store heat during the day and release it at night. It all started with a 'do it yourself' cellar in 1951, today a contemporary and modern cellar technology prevails, because large sums have been invested in the expansion and technical modernization.
