St. Magdalener - a cuvee of Vernatsch and a small portion of Lagrein - is one of the most typical wines of South Tyrol. A distinctly fruity red wine, from the eponymous growing area 'St. Maddalena' near Bolzano-Gries. Radiant ruby red, velvety and at the same time rich on the palate, with youthful freshness. - Gerardo [TS06/23]

Gerardo's Notes: The classic line as an upscale standard segment, offers single-varietal white and red wines with lots of fruit and typicity. Bright ruby red color. Fruity aroma, olfactory notes of red berries, sour cherry and violets. Elegant, medium-bodied with soft spicy tannins. Fresh finish with fine bitter almond notes.
