The grapes for the Pinot Noir St. Valentin come from the best sites in St. Michael-Eppan: Bright, garnet red color with ruby inclusions. Aroma of small berries, crisp cherries, fresh violets and a hint of marzipan. Soft and spicy on the palate, with great structure and elegance. - Gerardo [TS06/21]
Gerardo's Notes: Pinot Noir, originating from France, has been cultivated in South Tyrol since 1850 and is called Pinot Noir here. The vine, which originates from Burgundy, is a great challenge for every winemaker. It makes great demands on the soil and climate, but also on the cellar master. Since 1995, only the best and oldest vineyards are selected for the Pinot Noir Sanct Valentin. Low yields and accurate care guarantee a fine, extremely sensual red wine. The winery's most important red wine shines in the glass with finesse, fruit, balanced body and fine tannins. It has excellent aging potential.
