The unique wines of Tenuta San Guido in Bolgheri
The wines of Tenuta San Guido in the Bolgheri area are known for their exceptional taste and unique characteristics. But what makes them so different? The answer lies in the particular location and ideal conditions of this region. Bolgheri is located on the Tuscan coast and benefits from a unique combination of sea breezes, Mediterranean climate and diverse soil types. These unique environmental conditions give Tenuta San Guido's wines a unique freshness and elegance that sets them apart from other wines from the region.

The grape varieties and vineyards of Guidalberto
Guidalberto, one of Tenuta San Guido's outstanding wines, is made from a carefully selected blend of grape varieties. The main component is Cabernet Sauvignon, which gives the wine structure, tannins and a complex aroma. It is complemented by Merlot, which gives Guidalberto fullness, smoothness and fruitiness. Tenuta San Guido's vineyards, where these grape varieties are grown, are of great importance for the quality of the wine. The careful selection of vineyards with different locations and soil types allows the best grapes to be harvested, shaping the unique character of Guidalberto.

Taste characteristics and aging potential of Guidalberto
Guidalberto stands out for its complexity and balance of flavors. In the glass it presents itself with a deep ruby red color. On the nose, aromas of ripe red fruits unfold, accompanied by subtle notes of spices and tobacco. On the palate it shows an impressive structure with silky tannins and a remarkable length. Guidalberto is already approachable in its youth, but also has great potential to evolve and mature. Over the years it gains complexity and development, while maintaining its freshness and elegance.

Conclusion
The Guidalberto of Tenuta San Guido represents the uniqueness of the wines from Bolgheri. Thanks to the particular environmental conditions and the careful selection of grape varieties and vineyards, a wine of outstanding quality and character is obtained. Its taste characteristics and impressive aging potential make it a sought-after choice for wine lovers and connoisseurs in search of an authentic and unique experience. - Gerardo [TS06/23]

"Guidalberto is perhaps the most gastronomic wine of the Tuscan coast. It comes mainly from those vineyards of Tenuta San Guido that are outside its own DOC Bolgheri Sassicaia. They are also younger, on average, than the vineyards designated for Sassicaia production. The 40 percent Merlot content also ensures greater accessibility while still young. 'This was our goal from the beginning; we wanted to produce a wine with Guidalberto that is already very enjoyable to drink in its youth,' Priscilla Incisa della Rocchetta emphasizes, 'however, several vertical tastings have shown that Guidalberto can nevertheless age very well.'" - Meiningers Weinwelt
