Italian Wineries | Blog
A winery or wine producer is a wine-growing enterprise that specializes in the cultivation and production of wine, sparkling wine and champagne. This is primarily an agricultural operation in which vines are grown in the immediate vicinity of the winery and processed into wine after the harvest. Often, winegrowers also market their wines themselves and directly on site. Wineries come in a wide variety of sizes, from tiny garage wineries to large-scale producers organized as cooperatives. - Tobias Gerhard Strunz
