While classic wines such as Valpolicella and Soave have a firm place in history, the aim of the young winemakers at Tenuta Sant'Antonio was to create something new. The first steps: Focus on freshness and aromas
The Scaia line began with three wines that were matured exclusively in stainless steel tanks. The focus was on freshness, lightness and aromatic complexity - characteristics that appeal to young and dynamic wine drinkers in particular. This approach created wines that are characterized by an uncomplicated drinking pleasure and at the same time a remarkable depth.
Expanding the line: innovation with character
Over time, the Scaia line grew to include two more wines. These new creations combine the characteristic qualities of the line - freshness and aromatics - with a subtle complexity. The difference is that some of the grapes used are slightly dried, a process borrowed from winemaking in Veneto. This gives the wines more structure and depth without losing any of their lightness.
