Vincenzo Bruna and his wife Silvana make their pesto rosso exclusively with their own Ligurian olive oil, which perfectly underlines the aromatic character of this sauce. All recipes are based on traditional, handed-down family recipes, which are implemented with great care and craftsmanship. The combination of sun-dried tomatoes, fresh basil and fine spices gives this pesto an intense, Mediterranean flavor. Use it in the classic way with pasta and rice, as a spicy topping for tomato slices, as a spread for bread snacks or to refine vegetable soups.
