Lagrein Rosato | Rosé
Rosé from South Tyrol has long been part of the repertoire of many wine lovers: South Tyrolean Rosato is mainly made from the indigenous, red grape variety Lagrein, whereby the low skin contact leads to a lighter color. This typical Rosato was also called 'Lagrein Kretzer' in the past, a term which derives from the Seihkorb (the so-called 'Kretze'). However, today the term is rarely in use, mostly the more common name 'Lagrein Rosato' is used. The Rosati from South Tyrol all color-intensive, powerful but at the same time always fruity and drinkable. - Gerardo [TS06/22]
