Sicilian rosé wines are characterized by the intense sunshine of the island. They are characterized by strong fruit aromas and a slightly spicy note. Rosés from Nero d'Avola and Frappato in particular offer a harmonious balance of freshness and structure, which is typical of the Sicilian wine tradition.

The rosato wines of Sicily, especially those made from the Nero d'Avola and Frappato grape varieties, combine intense fruit with Mediterranean spice. The hot days and cool nights on the island favor a concentrated yet fresh style of wine. Aromas of ripe strawberries, cherries and pomegranate meet subtle herbal notes, often complemented by a mineral undertone due to the volcanic soils.

Thanks to their structure and balance, Sicilian rosati are not only a pleasure to drink on their own, but also ideal accompaniments to dishes with grilled fish, lamb or oriental-spiced couscous.
