Soave Classico is a well-known white wine from the Veneto region of northern Italy. Among the well-known producers, Ca'Rugate wine house in particular has been promoting this wine and the Garganega grape variety on which it is based for more than a decade. The wine is fresh, dry, fruity and appropriately refreshing. The pale yellow Soave is a perfect companion to asparagus and fish dishes, but also goes well with many other dishes and is also an excellent aperitif.

It owes its reputation to the precious and autochthonous Garganega grape. The Classico designation means that this wine grows in the oldest growing region, mostly in the hills and on black volcanic soil. The vine produces fragrant-fresh, fruity and at the same time mild wines, with golden yellow color. The typical fruity acidity and moderate alcohol content make this wine very attractive to the Central European wine lover. Garganega is a vigorous white wine grape variety from Veneto. Its best-known expression is in Soave, in which it accounts for 70-100%. In Soave Classico, this grape variety produces fine white wines of particular quality, fragrant of lemons and almonds, on which the good name of Soave is based. - Gerardo
