The brothers Armando, Lieto and Aurelio Flamigni, opened their pastry shop in Piazza Saffi in Forlì in 1930. After just a few years, their business had multiplied and became a must for all travelers from the north vacationing on the Adriatic Riviera. What was the secret of their success? Certainly the rigor of the processing methods and the selection of the best ingredients, in a word: quality.
The turning point came in the 1970s when, at the suggestion of Marco Buli, son-in-law of one of the founders, the Flamigni company began to focus mainly on production. This was done while respecting tradition, increasing the number of pieces without diminishing the care and craftsmanship. During this period, the flagship of the Flamigni range became the nougat in all its variations. After a few years, the catalog was expanded thanks to a love story, Love with a capital A for a great Italian specialty: panettone, the Christmas cake par excellence. And since our family loves to do things well, in the 1990s we decided to open a production plant for sourdough products in Alba, Piedmont, with the most capable and prepared workforce. Today, after 25 years, we have finally managed to unite all our production in the new plant in Forlì.
A few years ago, the Flamigni company changed its structure, bringing together Marco Buli, now mainly dedicated to administration, with two new protagonists: his children Renata and Massimo. Thus, even today, 90 years after its foundation, passion is the engine of our company, a passion for quality and craftsmanship that has remained unchanged since day one.
