Cascina Belvedere is an Italian rice producer with over a century of history deeply rooted in the fertile plains of Piedmont. Eusebio Picco, descendant of a family of rice growers, began continuing the tradition of rice cultivation in the region as early as 1878. In 1935, his son Benedetto took over the Cascina Belvedere farm in Bianzè and laid the foundations for the company, which today is known for its exceptional quality and commitment to organic farming.
The Picco family, who have been passing on respect for nature and the art of rice cultivation for generations, decided to convert their rice fields to organic farming in the 1990s. This conversion was an expression of their deep sense of responsibility towards the environment. Since then, Cascina Belvedere has been cultivating rice using methods that respect the earth, animals, air and water. The focus is always on the quality of the product: from sowing to harvesting, every step of rice production is closely monitored in order to offer the consumer an unadulterated, high-quality product.
