Sangiovese | Grape variety
The most cultivated red wine grape variety in Italy is mainly found in central Italy. Sangiovese is available as a simple and drinkable table wine, but is also considered the basis for many fine red wines of Tuscany. These include timeless classics such as Brunello di Montalcino, Chianti Classico, Chianti in general, Morellino di Scansano or Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. The Sangiovese grape variety produces structured wines of medium light red color and good acidity and tannin content. - Gerardo
