Foradori | Trentino
Elisabetta Foradori is a defining figure in Trentino viticulture: with great dedication, she has revived the almost forgotten Teroldego grape variety and at the same time laid the groundwork for experimental, biodynamic practices. Her winery in Mezzolombardo is characterized by a deep connection to nature—old vines, amphora vinification, and a conscious ecosystem shape not only the vineyards but also the winemaker's self-image.
Foradori's characterful wines are produced on around 28 to 30 hectares of vineyards: in addition to Teroldego, she cultivates rare white varieties such as Nosiola, Manzoni Bianco, and Pinot Grigio. The winemaker's vinological signature combines traditional parcel selections with bold methods such as maceration in amphorae—an approach that gives the wines unmistakable clarity, structure, and authenticity. - Gerardo [TS12/25]
