The Pecorino Mvria shows a straw yellow color with light golden reflections and varied brilliance. This Pecorino really lies in the glass and moves slowly, a sign of high consistency. The intense bouquet is very aromatic, mixing notes of herbs with a fruity touch of yellow fruit sage and ripe jujube. The sparkling yellow-green appearance of this Sauvignon is impressive. Its aroma is enticingly exotic, with a multi-layered fruit of mango, papaya, lime and red grapefruit. Herbal aromas reminiscent of lemongrass, lemon balm, mint and green tea are also clearly perceptible. It also reveals mineral flint notes combined with a hint of gooseberry. On the palate, there is an extremely interesting interplay. Vernaccia di Oristano Antico Gregori is a cuvée made by the solera method, with a base dating back to the early 1900s and topped up only with the best vintage. Cited by Hugh Johnson as one of the 20 wines to have tasted once in a lifetime.

LR stands for Luis Raifer, who gave the impetus for the creation of this wine. Luis Raifer was for a long time chairman and managing director of the winery Schreckbichl and one of the founders of the South Tyrolean quality offensive. After several years and some experimentation in the choice of varieties, LR was born. Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc and Sauvignon, aged on the fine lees and in wood, blend into a cuvée with considerable structure and feminine elegance.
