The Moscato Rosa, known in German as Rosenmuskateller, is a fascinating mutation of the white Muscat Blanc grape and is characterized by its delicate reddish-shimmering berries. Its name already hints at its characteristic bouquet: a beguiling scent of fresh rose petals, accompanied by subtle nuances of exotic fruits and spices. This rare grape variety originally comes from the Balkans, was later also found in Sicily, and finally found its true home in South Tyrol. Today, it is cultivated almost exclusively there, as well as in small parts of Trentino.
