  The Praepositus Eisacktaler Grüner Veltliner from the Neustift monastery presents itself in a clear, light yellow color that immediately conveys freshness and liveliness when poured. The bouquet is characterized by intense notes of green apples, delicate citrus fruits, and a hint of white flowers, accompanied by a subtle mineral nuance that can be attributed to the special soils of the Eisacktal vineyards. On the palate, the wine shows an elegant balance between fruity freshness and a fine spiciness, supported by a harmonious acidity structure that gives the wine length and expression.

The origin of the wine is particularly noteworthy: the Eisack Valley vineyards extend southward on calcareous soils, which offer optimal conditions for the Grüner Veltliner grape variety and shape the typical character of the wine. The Neustift monastery, whose winegrowing tradition dates back to the 12th century, preserves the connection between historical winemaking and modern oenology in this Praepositus.
