The Mayr-Unterganzner estate is an ancient, traditional family business on the eastern edge of the Bolzano basin, which has been owned by the Mayr family since 1629. On porphyry and alluvial soils, the tenth generation of the family cultivates a deep connection to the land and viticulture, always with the aim of producing wines that are both characterful and enjoyable to drink. The winery has long been more than just a farm; it is a symbol of consistency, heritage, and craftsmanship.

The estate is characterized by gentle viticulture: low yields, a slightly modified pergola cultivation for Lagrein, and a conscious avoidance of chemical fertilizers characterize the work in the vineyard. In the cellar, precise and creative vinification is used to create wines with natural expression and strong character.
