Psenner's mountain apple brandy is made from carefully selected Golden Delicious apples, which thrive on the sunny slopes of South Tyrol at over 700 meters above sea level. These apples, which are known for their characteristic freckles, give the distillate a special freshness and fruitiness. In the oldest fruit distillery in South Tyrol, a particularly soft apple distillate is produced, which matures after distillation in oak and chestnut barrique barrels to develop its full-bodied complexity.
The maturation in wooden barrels produces aromas of cinnamon, vanilla and baked apple, which make the mountain apple brandy a soothing pleasure. These warm, harmonious nuances accompany the brandy on the palate and make it a particularly elegant and characterful distillate that impresses with a wonderful balance of fruitiness and spice. - Gerardo [TS10/26]
