The Grappa Barrique Riserva is distilled from carefully selected pomace from the South Tyrolean wine varieties Vernatsch, Blauburgunder and Gewürztraminer. Following the traditional distillation method in copper stills, the grappa first matures for a year in stainless steel tanks and then attains its perfect elegance through subsequent ageing in French oak barrique barrels.
This grappa impresses with its complex and versatile aroma profile, which is dominated by floral notes and fresh citrus fruits, while subtle nuances of spice and licorice unfold in the background. On the palate, the Barrique Riserva is powerful yet smooth, with a harmonious balance and a long, intense finish.
