Orgno Merlot IGT 2012

The Merlot vines were planted in 1978 in the Orgno vineyard and used in the wine of the same name more than ten years later. This minimum age of the vines guarantees high quality product: intense ruby red color in the glass, on the nose notes of ripe red fruit, leather, truffle and licorice. On the palate of rich and balanced structure, enveloping and powerful. - Gerardo

This wine from the Prestige line of the Fasoli brothers is the result of decades of research into the Valpolicella terroir. The selection of suitable vineyards and their exposure, that understanding of the microclimate and the extremely limited grape material allow for a truly great wine. This wine was deliberately classified as IGT because grapes and aging do not want to comply with the DOC regulations.

Puro Montepulciano DOPPELMAGNUM IGT 2003

Puro was born from a collaborative project of 2003: the interest lay in the fact that the vineyards were harvested and vinified separately according to the age of the vines, exposure and soil conditions. In the end, the three best barrels were united and bottled. The result is a wine of intense ruby color, almost going to black, with a stunning bouquet of chocolate and eucalyptus. Puro gives itself balsamic and medicinal, it shines with concentrated aromas of blueberries and blackberries, soft tannins and perfect length. - Gerardo

Caloetto Amarone della Valpolicella DOC 2009 (1er Holzkiste)

From the highest point of the highest vineyard at Le Ragose comes the Amarone Caloetto. The terraced vineyard faces southeast on steep slopes and is well above the 'nebbia' (fog) common in the Veneto lower down.

This Amarone clearly shows the Le Ragose signature: wines with dense, grippy tannins and acid-supported vigor. The intense aroma is reminiscent of cherry jam, herbs and some undergrowth. The palate is dense and ripe, while being harmonious and ehed tannic. - Gerardo
