Red Wine | 75-80 Euros
Exclusively from blue grapes Italian red wine is produced. Red wine differs not only in the grape varieties used, but also in the production process. The pressed, initially more colorless juice of the grapes undergoes alcoholic fermentation during the mash, which, among other things, dissolves the red color pigments. Short maceration results in red wines with a fruity character, which tend to be drunk young and not stored. As the maceration progresses, the amount of dissolved color pigments, tannins and phenols increases, allowing for the development of a great storage wine. - Gerardo [TS06/22]

Marion, Veneto
A magnum bottle of Calto by Marion in an original gift box:
Going with the flow has never been the intention of the Campedelli family, which is behind the Marion winery. This is evident not only in the unusual for the Veneto grape varieties such as Teroldego, but also in the fantasy cuvee 'Calto'. This prestigious wine is nothing other than a very personal interpretation of Amarone, which, however, cannot be marketed as such due to legal regulations. The proportion of Teroldego provides additional fire, accordingly, this wine is intense:
In the glass of very dark, ruby color with only slightly brightening edges. In the aroma of red berries, licorice and some tobacco. The palate is velvety, well structured and soft tannins. The finish is complex and persistent. - Gerardo [TS04/18]
All Marion wines go back to the signature of Celestino Gaspari, who served as cellar master for Quintarelli for 20 years and currently also works for Dal Forno.
Includes a gift box (color may vary). 3 Unit(s) can be ordered at most, limited.

Musella, Veneto
The basic amarone is also given full attention at Musella: after drying, the grapes lose 35% of their own weight, concentrating fructose, aromas and tannins. The fine aromas, reminiscent of spicy herbs and black berries, create a well-rounded overall impression. Persistent and complex on the palate. - Gerardo [TS08/12]
"Dark bright ruby red with a tendency to garnet. Opens on blood orange, ripe rosehip and fresh wild strawberry, in the reverberation light spicy note, some undergrowth. On the palate with great fruit sweetness, juicy and clear, shows very drinkable and with well integrated alcohol, lively, in the reverberation of rose petal." - Falstaff

Ca' del Baio, Piedmont
From the vineyards around the winery comes the most traditional Barbaresco, aged exclusively in large barrels, as in the past. It best expresses the elegance of the wine without showing the muscles of Nebbiolo.
Garnet red color; intense aroma with enveloping notes of fruit, withered flowers and scents of undergrowth; dry, velvety and harmonious taste that ends with a warm and appropriately tannic finish. - Gerardo [TS04/19]
