Sparkling wine production at Ca dei Frati is a process that requires precision, passion and a deep understanding of the grapes. The grapes used for the sparkling wines come mainly from the vineyards that permeate the characteristic soil of the Lugana area around Lake Garda. The production process begins with a careful hand-picking of the grapes to ensure that only the best fruit goes into the wine. After an appropriate maturation period, the bottles are shaken and disgorged to remove the yeast before the sparkling wine is finally bottled.
