Gerumi · Garda Merlot IGT 2022

  Gerumì is an impressive interpretation of the Merlot grape in the heart of the Lombardy region of Lake Garda. Made from only the best vineyards with gravelly and clayey soils, it undergoes careful selection, maceration, and aging in small wooden barrels—a process that gives the wine depth and structure without overshadowing its typical fruitiness. This branch of the Bulgarini house is a testament to craftsmanship and heritage: a single-varietal Merlot that takes advantage of prime locations in the Garda DOC area to reflect both structure and elegance.

In the glass, Gerumì shines with a deep ruby color and violet reflections—a visual testament to its concentration and stylistic power. The bouquet unfolds aromas of dark berries, cherry jam, and forest fruits, enriched with nuances of vanilla and wood, as well as spicy notes such as cloves, cinnamon, and black pepper. The finish reveals subtle hints of coffee, tobacco, and licorice, which give the wine its profile and longevity.
