The single-varietal Merlot Nussleiten comes from the single vineyard of the same name on Lake Kaltern and has a rich, garnet red color with light violet reflections. On the nose, it convinces with aromas of fine plums and elderberry fruit, subtle vanilla notes and light toasted aromas, as well as an opulent richness. The taste on the palate is classically kept and almost reminiscent of Bordelais style, with subtle hints of red pepper, light peppery spice and power and richness. This exceptional Merlot is based on extremely low yields per hectare of only one grape per shoot. - Gerardo
