The intense as well as aromatic fragrance and its full character require dishes with strong flavor. We recommend it with shellfish, spicy cheeses, Asian dishes and desserts such as apple strudel. - Gerardo [TS06/21]
Gerardo's Notes: One third of the Gewürztraminer grows in Girlan on the hills of the Überetsch at an altitude of 450 to 500 meters above sea level on vines that are 10 to 15 years old. Two thirds, on the other hand, come from Kurtatsch in the Unterland. The combination of the growing soils, gravelly to clayey and rich in minerals, gives the Gewürztraminer Flora a unique character.
