  The “Graf” Goldmuskateller from the Merano Winery is a shining example of how an aromatic special grape variety can achieve unexpected depth and elegance in an alpine environment. The grapes for this variety come from sun-drenched slopes in the Merano region, on soils containing porphyry and sand, which promote the concentrated development of muscat aromas thanks to their permeability. Careful harvesting, gentle processing, and storage in stainless steel tanks—specifically without malolactic fermentation—result in a style that deliberately emphasizes the variety.

In the glass, the wine is a light straw yellow with a greenish-golden sheen—a visual indication of both its lightness and aromatic richness. The nose is dominated by warm nutmeg notes, accompanied by citrus accents such as lemon and orange, as well as exotic hints - a fragrance that evokes memories of summer afternoons in the vineyard. On the palate, these aromas combine with a playful freshness and fine spice - the finish is harmonious and lingering.
