Chardonnay DOC 2024

  The Chardonnay from the Muri-Gries monastery winery is characterized by its clear origin and careful vinification: in the terraced vineyards around Bolzano and Appiano, where limestone- and gravel-rich soils meet the alpine climate, the grapes develop their characteristic depth. Vinification focuses on freshness and varietal purity—after selective hand harvesting, the must is fermented in stainless steel and partially aged on the fine lees to maintain a harmonious balance of fruit and structure.

In the glass, this Chardonnay displays a bright straw yellow color with subtle greenish reflections, a visual indication of vitality and origin. The nose reveals aromas of ripe banana, citrus fruit, and golden apple, complemented by a delicate hint of hay and subtle nutty undertones—an expression of the soil's typicity.
