For its Chardonnay Marna, the Girlan winery uses grapes from selected vineyards located in the Überetsch region at an altitude of 450 - 530 meters above sea level. Giulio Grasso's daughter Valentina, after her experience in Burgundy, has begun work on her own Chardonnay project, an experimental version that combines the French style of winemaking with the terroir of Barbaresco.
