The selected Vermentino grapes for 'Papiri' come from selected vineyards with particularly low yields per hectare: Clear, straw-yellow color with bright reflections in the glass. Intense and delicate aroma of melon and banana. Dry and smooth on the palate, with slight hints of bitter almond. It is drunk not only as a table wine, but also with pleasure as a valuable aperitif wine. - Gerardo [TS06/23]

Gerardo's Notes: 'The grapes for Cru Vermentino Papiri come from a few selected and very old vineyards in the area. As with all wines of the upscale line, the harvest of the grapes is done by hand. After fermentation, Papiri undergoes a long and slow aging period in the bottle, which is why the wine is released for sale a little later. Thus, Papiri evolves into the ultimate expression of the Vermentino grape variety.
