The carefully selected Vermentino grapes for the Papiri come from selected vineyards with particularly low yields per hectare. In the glass, the wine has a clear straw-yellow color with bright reflections that underline its freshness and liveliness. The intense and delicate aroma is reminiscent of melon and banana and awakens the anticipation of the first sip. On the palate, Papiri delights with its dry and soft texture, accompanied by light notes of bitter almond. This wine is not only suitable as an excellent table wine, but is also enjoyed as a valuable aperitif wine that provides a harmonious introduction to any feast. - Gerardo [TS10/24]

Gerardo's Notes: Die Trauben für den Cru Vermentino Papiri stammen aus wenigen, ausgewählten und sehr alten Weinbergen der Gegend. Wie bei allen Weinen der gehobenen Linie, erfolgt die Ernte der Trauben von Hand. Nach der Gärung durchlebt Papiri eine lange und langsame Reifezeit auf der Flasche, weshalb der Wein auch etwas später zum Verkauf freigegeben wird. So entwickelt sich Papiri zum ultimativen Ausdruck der Rebsorte Vermentino.
