The Aragosta line from Cantina Santa Maria la Palma is one of the best-known wine series in Sardinia and is now known far beyond Italy's borders. The foundation stone for its success was laid in 1967 with the Vermentino di Sardegna Aragosta - a pure Vermentino from the area around Alghero, whose fresh, salty aroma quickly found many fans. This white wine not only became the flagship of the winery, but also advanced to become one of the best-selling white wines in Italy.

International recognition followed promptly: the prestigious trade magazine Wine Spectator included Vermentino Aragosta in its list of the “Top 100 Values” - an award for wines with an outstanding price-performance ratio. Today, the Aragosta line has grown into a versatile product family with six independent labels. All bottles are adorned with the characteristic label featuring the lobster (Italian: aragosta) - a symbol of Sardinia's maritime identity and a highly recognizable trademark.

Vermentino di Sardegna Aragosta: The classic - fresh, lively, with notes of citrus, white flowers and a hint of Mediterranean herbs. Its clear, dry style and delicate saltiness make it the ideal accompaniment to seafood, grilled fish or simply as an aperitif.

Aragosta Rosato: A rosé made from Sardinian grape varieties that delights with its light color, fresh strawberry and redcurrant aromas and pleasant freshness. It is ideal for warm summer evenings, antipasti or light Mediterranean cuisine.

Aragosta Brut Rosé: The rosé-colored sparkling wine in the range combines freshness with delicate berry aromas and fine elegance. Expressive and charming, it is ideal for festive occasions or as a stylish aperitif.
