Il Fatto grappa from Distillerie Berta is a classic, single-varietal pomace brandy that combines the traditional art of distillation of this family-run distillery with authentic enjoyment. It is distilled from the pomace of the Sangiovese grape, a grape variety with centuries of history in Italy. Its clear, colorless appearance indicates that it has been aged in stainless steel, which preserves the fresh, varietal aromas before the brandy is bottled. The nose reveals a sweet, autumnal bouquet, in which the richness of ripe stone fruits and a hint of spice nuances are interwoven with a subtle spiciness. The aromatic profile of this spirit reflects both the depth of the Sangiovese character and the artisanal precision for which Berta has been known in Piedmont for decades.
