This Chianti comes from the hills of Montespertoli, about 20 km west of Florence. Visually, it can be recognized by its appealing bright ruby color. On the nose aromas of cherry and spices such as pepper, a rich flavor and a pleasant drinkability. This Chianti is an excellent companion to strong, everyday dishes.

This typical Tuscan specialty is made from Sangiovese, Malvasia Nera and Canaiolo grapes. The name Governo stands for a traditional method of production: after the first fermentation, dried grapes are added to the wine to trigger a second fermentation. This Chianti from the Colli Senesi area is made from the youngest vineyards of Camigliano, which brings out well the freshness and fruitiness of the Tuscan Sangiovese. The top wine from the Cantina del Vermentino is a blend of Cabernet-Sauvignon, Sangiovese (which has always been grown in Sardinia) and the two indigenous grape varieties Carignano and Cagnulari.
