Grappa Tre Soli Tre is an exceptional pomace brandy, aged for a long time in wooden barrels, produced in the heart of one of Italy's most traditional wine-growing regions. After discontinuous steam distillation of selected Nebbiolo pomace from the renowned Barolo and Barbaresco areas, this grappa is aged for around eight years in various wooden barrels before being bottled. This extended storage gives it a warm, amber color and a complex, enveloping aroma that goes far beyond the ordinary.
On the nose, Tre Soli Tre reveals a rich, complex bouquet in which aromas of ripe blackcurrants, apricots, and sour cherries combine with seductive notes of cocoa and vanilla, accompanied by delicate spicy accents. On the palate, it is soft, balanced, and full-bodied, supported by a harmonious balance of fruit, wood, and powerful depth, which manifests itself in a long, elegant finish. The name “Tre Soli Tre” alludes to the three major Nebbiolo growing areas of Piedmont and refers to the regional identity of this grappa, which impressively expresses not only the Berta family's commitment to tradition, but also the extraordinary strength of character of the Piedmontese terroir. - Gerardo [TS10/10]
