Moscato d'Asti is the classic Piedmontese wine for pleasure and enjoyment: its combination of low alcohol content, light effervescence, and wonderfully fresh fruit sweetness makes it a fine aperitif and a stylish introduction to the world of wine. It is made from the Moscato Bianco grape variety, grown in the traditional growing areas of the provinces of Asti, Cuneo, and Alessandria in Piedmont.
