Merlot grapes, coming from 30 year old vines in the vineyard south of the village of Margreid, are the secret of this attractive wine. After a controlled maceration around 28 degrees C. in stainless steel vats, it is aged for about 6 months in large Slovenian oak barrels. This is followed by a few months of bottle aging.
