Forastera | Grape variety
The white grape variety Forastera is grown in Italy mainly in the Campania region, on the island of Sardinia as well as on the island of Ischia. Especially on Ischia, together with the grape variety Biancolella, it gives the local white wines their unique character. The wines are well structured and are characterized by a subtle almond tone. - Gerardo
