Lugana DOC 2024

  The “Lugana DOC Bulgarini” from Cantina Bulgarini in Lombardy is a white wine with a slender elegance and a clear profile of origin. The grapes of the indigenous “Turbiana” variety (also known as Trebbiano di Lugana) grow in the morainic hills south of Lake Garda near Pozzolengo, where sandy and gravelly soils and a mild Alpine-Mediterranean microclimate create ideal conditions. In the cellar, the Bulgarini family relies on hand harvesting, gentle pressing, and fermentation in stainless steel tanks—a concept that clearly brings out freshness, pure fruit, and origin.

In the glass, this Lugana is a light straw yellow with greenish reflections - a visual indication of vitality and clarity. The bouquet seduces with aromas of ripe peaches, apricots, pineapple, and grapefruit, accompanied by a subtle almond note and fine mineral undertones that hint at the unique terroir. On the palate, this fruity presence combines with a pleasant structure and polished texture: the wine is balanced and lively, with a lingering aromatic finish reminiscent of bitter almonds.
