This pure Vermentino comes from fertile volcanic soils and is one of the most famous wines of Pitigliano: decisive for the pronounced minerality are the vineyards which are based on basalt, pumice and tuff. These volcanic rocks are very porous and can absorb up to 100 percent of their own weight in water and release it only very slowly. A mild, fruity, aromatic Volcanic Wine with subtle hints of flint. - Gerardo
