Merlot wines show a dense garnet red color with an almost black core, as this Merlot Castel Sallegg proves. Ripe aromas of red currant jam characterize the complex aroma, as do hints of cedar and tobacco spice, as well as some mulberry aromas in the background. With a dense structure, robust tannins and a finish full of character, this wine convinces on the palate. - Gerardo
